Introductory Workshops for International Doctoral Candidates
Conducted twice a year, the introductory workshops comprise various informational offerings and workshops on the topics of "Getting Your Doctorate in Germany and at Philipps-Universität Marburg", "Funding", "Intercultural Training", "Academic Writing", "Good Scientific Practice", "Academic Publishing" as well as "Career Pathways" and "Job Application Training". A supplemental program provides opportunities to get to know one another and engage in networking.
Individual Consultation Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs
Individual coaching, especially in matters concerning career planning, reviewing your application for third-party funding, communicating academic content, as well as communicating with your audience.
MEWISMA "Academic Career" Mentoring Program
The universities of Gießen and Marburg are offering a mentoring program for postdocs who would like to receive consultation and support from a mentor in taking the next steps in their academic career. In addition, the mentoring program also involves accompanying events and events for the purpose of networking.
